#CL15LV Collaborate 15 update – it’s next week!
it’s that time of year again. The Collaborate 15 conference is in beautiful Las Vegas at the Mandalay Bay Hotel. Did you know that the Collaborate conference is a collaborative event that is sponsored and coordinated by three user groups.

OAUG Hyperion SIG Meeting
I will be presenting twice this year. First I would like to invite you to the OAUG Hyperion SIG Meeting on Sunday April 12, 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM, in Room Jasmine A. Attending these SIG meetings are a great way to meet fellow Hyperion users and meet the OAUG Hyperion SIG Board in an open forum. We will discuss OAUG and SIG Business and have various presentations by industry leaders that update the audience on what’s new across the EPM suite including Essbase, Consolations, Planning, Infrastructure, Planning on the Cloud, etc. We will also have a roadmap presentation by Oracle.

JDSU is leading provider of optical products, test and measurement solutions for the communications industry. JDSU leverages Oracle EBS and EPM suite from Oracle (version 11.1.2.1), which includes various FP&A tools such as Hyperion Account Reconciliation Manager (ARM), Planning, Essbase and Interactive Reporting. The goal is to implement enterprise solutions that can replace and automate existing reconciliation processes, tools, spreadsheets and applications, provide a consolidated platform for the future. JDSU has been using ARM since 2013, this presentation will share the user experience and feedback with audience.
10324: How to migrate to FDMEE and not die trying – Levi’s knows!

Levi’s implemented and had been using FDM since 2009, and started the redesign to migrate to FDMEE in 2013 with a go-live in 2014. The key objectives were to improve system performance and simplify the data load process. Levi’s has 3 SAP and 7 non-SAP ledger systems around the world. Before the redesign, there were multiple data load processes and interfaces between the GL systems and FDM. After going through the redesign with FDMEE, Levi’s successfully transformed the import formats, mappings, and custom scripts into a streamlined and simplified data load process. The new solution also includes an FDMEE and DRM integration.
